Preparation for installing the wings tomorrow.

Installed the wings with help from Roger. Thanks Roger!

Also put the Ailerons on the wings and connected the control rods for the Ailerons

Installed W20-01R Right Wing Doubler. Made a spacer from plexiglass to mark the gap. Allowed extra space in the gap for Vans wing gap seal. Clecoed the doubler to the wing offset outboard by 1/2 inch. Used the spacer to mark a trim line on the doubler. Used snips to trim the doubler. Clecoed the doubler in the proper location. Installed the Vans wing gap seal to be sure the gap was OK. Installed the rivets holding the doubler to the wing.

Installed W20-01L Left Wing Doubler. Allowed extra space in the gap for Vans wing gap seal. Clecoed the doubler to the wing offset outboard by 1/2 inch. Used the spacer to mark a trim line on the doubler. Used snips to trim the doubler. Clecoed the doubler in the proper location. Installed the Vans wing gap seal to be sure the gap was OK. Installed the rivets holding the doubler to the wing.

Worked on balancing the left aileron

Installed the painted wings and flaps.

Finished balancing the left aileron. Installed the wing gap seal.

Installed cotter pins for flaps. Adjusted flaps to neutral position.

Adjusted the aileron push rods so the ailerons would be in the neutral position. Connected the aileron push rods to control stick assembly.

Left Flap - Installed cotter pins. Tightened the check nut. Left Aileron - started installing the cotter pins. Tightened the check nut.

Installed the Pitot and Static probe on the wing. Finished installing cotter pins on left aileron and left bell crank.
